Engineered quartz is nonporous, so it does not need the routine sealing many natural stones do. It offers more consistent pattern and colour choices, from quiet whites to bold veining.
How it comparesGranite and marble have natural variation and often need sealing; marble is also more prone to etching. Quartz keeps care simpler, but it is not heatproof: use trivets and follow the manufacturer’s care guidance.
